Our new KR-103 Rifle is a semi-automatic civilian variant of the AK-103, a modernized version of Russia’s famed AKM (Avtomat Kalasnikova modernizirovanny) Rifle chambered in the Soviet 7.62x39mm caliber. Mikhail Kalashnikov, the father of the original AK-47, oversaw the design of the AK-103 firsthand. All AKM and AK-74 furniture and accessories are compatible with the KR-103. It makes use of a 7.62mm steel reinforced polymer magazine built in the United States, which is just as reliable as Russian mags made at Russia’s renowned Izhmash or Tula arsenals. A drum magazine can also be inserted. The KR-103 rifle also has a highly effective muzzle brake, which was initially employed in the AK-74 and is still utilized in the most recent generation of Russian military rifles, the AK-12 and AK-15.
The KR-103 was designed and built with meticulous attention to detail in accordance with authentic Russian specifications. As a result, the KR-103 replicates the amazing toughness and dependability that have made the AK-47 and AKM platforms the most prolific firearm platforms in the world, with over 100 million built.
